日本において戦後初の緊急事態宣言が発令された後、安倍晋三首相の会見にて
「看護助手」
という職能を名指していただいたこと、看護助手がいかに誇りある仕事かということを実感出来きました。
安倍首相の会見での冒頭にお話しされていた内容です。
「全国各地の医師、看護師、看護助手、病院スタッフの皆さん、そして感染対策に携わる保健所や専門家、臨床検査技師の皆さん、日本国民を代表して心より感謝申し上げます」
「新型コロナウィルスとの戦いの最前線で、一人でも多くの命を救うため献身的な努力をしてくださっていることに心からの敬意を表したいと思います」
「過酷なウィルスとの戦いの中で、高い使命感を持った皆さんの存在は私たちを勇気付けてくれるものです。本当にありがとうございます」
冒頭から看護助手という職種名をおっしゃられたことにも驚きました。
これは我々がいかに誇りある仕事を行っているかということが全国的に証明されたことでもあります。
緊張状態の続く医療現場ではありますが、国民の健康や、安全、安心して暮らすことの出来る社会を維持するには、我々の仕事は欠かせません。
まずは、感染、医療安全の原則を保ちつつ、自らの健康維持も慎重に行っていきましょう。
我々は、誇りある社会全体にとって大事な仕事を行っていることを忘れないでください。
Thank you for everybody all the time. Translation of an announcement from Prime Minister Mr.Abe on Tuesday April 8th PM’s announcement started from following words.
“I thank on behalf of the Japanese people to the doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and hospital staff, and the public health center, experts, and laboratory technologists involved in infection control. I would like to express my sincere respect for the people being dedicated to helping many lives at the forefront of the fight against the new coronavirus. You with a high sense of mission encourage us in the fierce battle against the virus. Thank you very much.”
I was moved by the prime minister word “nursing assistant”.
Please be proud of our job, and remember that we contribute Japanese safe, healthy and secure society.
Also be cautious of maintaining your own health with the principles of infection and medical safety.
